The Whippet is a fully buffered, ultra high speed
serial port capable of performing upto 400% faster
than the A1200's serial port. Data transfers with the
Whippet are guaranteed to be much faster, much
safer and much more reliable than when using the
standard Amiga serial port.
The Whippet really comes into its own when surfing the Internet. High speed drivers allow the use of web browsers, ftp clients, e-mail clients, usenet readers and other Internet tools, all at the same time, without any loss of data.
